Tour Winaukee

Choosing the right camp for your son is an important decision, and veteran camp parents will tell you that the best way to select a camp is by taking the time to visit those that match your child’s interests.

We want to make your family’s tour experience as convenient and helpful as possible. When you visit Camp Winaukee not only are you seeing us, but also spectacular Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It’s worth spending some time here!

Standard Tour Option

Weekday or Weekend

We offer a morning or afternoon tour option.

Upon arrival your son will be whisked off with new friends and Winaukee counselors to enjoy some of our activities and see our campus.

While your son is getting to know Camp Winaukee from his perspective you will be toured by a Director so that you can see our gorgeous campus and spend some time asking questions, getting to know us and see camp in action!

Rookie Experience

Our Rookie Experience is a free 2 night, 3 day experience for boys looking to try our many of our fun activities, meet friends, eat our chef-prepared food and enjoy a campfire with S’mores under the New Hampshire stars!

Spaces are limited and granted on a first come first served basis.

Winaukee + Maine

If you are combining your visit to Camp Winaukee with with a family trip to Maine we’ve created a couple of potential itineraries for you to make the most of your time.

Option 1

Visit Camp Winaukee, Then Head North or East
  • Arrive near Winaukee for dinner & an overnight stay Friday evening or Saturday AM.
  • Saturday morning breakfast @ Village Kitchen (Moultonborough), arrive @ Winaukee at 10 AM.
  • Your son participates in some activities he likes and makes some new camp friends!
  • Parents tour camp with Ashleigh, Matt or Poff.
  • Head east to your Maine adventure……

Option 2

Go to Maine, Then Head Southwest
  • Once your adventure in Maine is complete, head to the Winaukee area for dinner & your overnight stay.
  • Morning breakfast @ Village Kitchen (Moultonborough), arrive @ Winaukee at 10 AM.
  • Your son participates in some activities he likes and makes some new camp friends!
  • Parents tour camp with Ashleigh, Matt or Poff.
  • Head home.
